The most popular traditional music at Ukerewe islands are commonly known as Dogori. These bands have exclusive technological instruments made locally of which they are used to provide an automatic solos music sound! These locally made instruments are known as Olugoza or Olugoja ! Actually Olugoza is more than modern advanced technological music instruments! We invite every one to view its video on our youtube to prove the said words.

At the time of marriage ceremonies people from Ukerewe islands gether at the house where the ceremony is conducted so as to celebrate and the most popular traditional band used to entertain them are Dogori bands. People from Ukerewe are attracted much by Dogori and when the beat starts all crowds will dance as if the dance is in the blood! They normally dance while saying a proverb to each other Engoma or Ingoma yalilaaa! Actually, it is a joy within a joy!

These are small fishes from Ukerewe Island,they are commonly known as ''Dagaa'' in Swahili language. Post harvest fishes are laid on the sand ground as the best way to dry them for then after to be consumed as food! I don't accept this way of post harvest fish preparations being practised at Ukerewe Islands. I am not aware if the the whole community,government,individuals institutions and FAO also accept happily this type of technology!!!!

This is a traditional band music from Bugula Village-Ukerewe islands. This type of attractive music solows is known as DOGORI within the community. Historically, they used to mobilize people at the time when Tanzania had looking independence of The United Republic of Tanzania by the year 1960 when Mwalimu Nyerere was demanding full independent. Actually,These tyepe of music industry played a great roles for the whole process of demanding independence though now the government does not care much on them.

2.This photo was taken at Nansio Port where many fruits are sold alongside the road. We need elementary technologies to process these fruits into Juice and other acceptable food. We could expect those Tanzania living abroad to bring us small enterpreneaurship technologies to for productions of these fruits!
